The Ultimate Travel Guide to Cabo San Lucas With Kids

Happiest of Mondays to you all.  We are home from Cabo and went straight back into reality.  I spent the weekend in my 300 Hour Yoga Training at Peace, Love & Yoga.  It was such a blessing as always.  I love my yoga family.  They are an inspiration and support system that has changed my life.  It was a great way to come back after a trip to Cabo San Lucas.  Which was by far one of our best vacations.  So, today I am going to share my guide to Cabo San Lucas with kids.

Find A Hotel With A Kids Club

This is key to a successful trip to Cabo.  We stayed at The Hilton Los Cabos.  They had a kids club that offered free kids club services.  Your child could go and hang out and you could take a nice break from your littles.  We took advantage and went to the Spa and hung out by the pool.  It was so nice knowing that we could get away for a bit and enjoy some alone time with your spouse.  I also recommend staying outside on the corridor.  I like being away from the busy area of downtown.  One thing you want to look into, is if their is if the hotel has beach access and how safe it is.  Our hotel had beach access, but the water was very rough during our stay so we spent most of our time in the pool.  Which was fabulous, so we didn’t mind!!

Swimming With Dolphins

This was chart topping for our girls.  I have never seen them smile so big in my life.  First off, I try to limit our contact with caged animals.  Also, I try to help them understand the importance of them having their freedom.  But, I do believe that some of the animals are being saved and protected from injuries that would have prevented them from living a healthy life.  We chose Dolphin Discovery, because the dolphins live in the actual ocean.  We met Belle and she was so sweet.  The girls learned so much about Dolphins, how they sleep (they don’t by the way, only half of their brain rests) what they eat and how they are cared for.   It was an amazing experience.  My KEY TIP be sure to buy your tickets with a photo or memories package.  It will save a lot of hassle and money.

Sunset Dinner Cruise

We loved our Sunset Dinner Cruise on Oceanus.  It was all you can eat, and drink.  The girls and I danced and we had so much fun.  The sunset was amazing.  It was a great way to see the arch and get out on the ocean with a tasty dinner.

Chileno Bay

We rented a car for a day, and drove to Chileno Bay ourselves.  I highly recommend it.  This is the spot that the snorkel tours drop you off.  Instead of paying the high price for a snorkel trip you can rent a car, or ride the bus and check it out for yourself.  We travelled with our snorkeling gear, so the only expense we had was the rental car.  Which leads me to my final TIP.

Rent A Car

Plan all of your excursions over a day or two and rent a car.  We rented our car from 1pm-1pm.  We snorkeled and then went back to our hotel and got ready for our sunset cruise.  The next day our Dolphin Excursion was in the morning.  So, we headed out and returned the car right on time.  It was great, and saved us a ton on transportation fees.
